 About Me

The 2010-2011 school year will be my 17th year of teaching for the Owensboro Public Schools!  I still wake up everyday excited to go to work.  This will be my 4th year of teaching 5th grade mathematics, the previous 13 years were dedicated to teaching 6th grade mathematics.  I married the love of my life, Michael in 1995.  We have two wonderful children.  Gabrielle is in 7th grade at OMS North and Eric is a 4th grader at Newton Parrish.  Michael and I have two dogs, Mickey a Golden Retriever and Lilly a Llewellin Setter, a cat named Midnight and a horse named Angel.  Our daughter is wanting a Great Dane!  She is hoping to get one in October.   I have been blessed with 5 brothers and 2 sisters, 18 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.

 Interesting Information

I enjoy being outside!  I love to garden, watch my son play baseball and my daughter riding her horse.  I despise cold weather and love being at the beach.  I'm a big Indiana University fan.  I always wear IU clothes when we have UK clothing day.   I love watching IU basketball and Colt's football.  Michael and I would love to move out to the country so we could have more horses and a billy goat named Billy, of course.
